WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is a new, limited-time, Timerunning event in which players will be able to relive the Mists of Pandaria expansion in a brand new way, with an accelerated leveling curve and tons of additions to create powerful characters. In this guide, we cover all of the details for this brand-new event!

WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria in Patch 10.2.7 – Level to 70 Using Special Rules and Loot!

What is WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria?

World of Warcraft Remix is a time-limited event which allows players to re-experience the entirety of the Mists of Pandaria expansion at an accelerated rate from level 10 through 70. All loot has been completely overhauled and has powerful new effects allowing players to shape their experience, power up, and power on. Features include:

  • Accelerated Leveling and Content allowing you to take on nearly every quest, scenario, dungeon and raid.
  • Create a new WoW Remix character starting at level 10 to adventure through the event up to level 70.
  • A mountain of loot: Get powerful items from everywhere— quests, chests, creatures, bosses.
  • Customizable items allowing you to power up as far as you can go to take on tougher content.
  • Convert unwanted items into Bronze which can be used to upgrade items or purchase cosmetics.
  • Keep what you collect: Take your collection of transmogs with you into The War Within.

Daily Goals:

In WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, you will create an entirely new character, and relive the Mists of Pandaria experience by leveling and completing tasks and expansion content within the continent. Timerunners start at level 10 at the Timeless Isle, and after going through a short introduction, you will receive the main feature of the event, the Cloak of Infinite Potential. Then you will be sent to Pandaria to follow your own path. – Wowhead 

To achieve the most out of your Timerunning experince, RUIN has developed a thorough guide on how to maximize time spent in game. Some content is locked behind having unlocked different items (Trinkets, Rings, and Amulet), having upgraded your gear with bronze, and having increased the stat bonuses on your Cloak of Infinite Potential.

Below you will find a list of the activities that you can do at any level each day, note for some activities like world bosses if you are underleveled or undergeared it is recommended you group up to complete the objective.

Clear each world boss:

  • Sha of Anger and Galleon are available at any level and require no prior questlines to unlock.
  • Nalak requires you
    to have completed the questline to access the Isle of Thunder
  • Celestials require you to have access to the Timeless Isle, this can be bypassed by Dragon Riding through the Fatigue zone
  • Ordos requires you to have reached level 70 and have reached at least Honoured with Emperor Shaohao

Daily quests for each faction you have unlocked, it is ideal to complete all the questlines in a reasonable time so that you have this option available to you as soon as possible.

  • The Anglers
  • The August Celestials (starter quest begins at Shrine of the Seven Stars each day)
  • Golden Lotus (starter quest begins at Shrine of the Seven Stars each day)
  • Order of the Cloud Serpent
  • Shadow Pan
  • Klaxxi
  • Kirin Tor Offensive
  • Operation: Shieldwall
  • Timeless Isle Dailies

Bonus Queue Content

  • Random Heroic and Normal Dungeon (one each)
  • Random Heroic and Normal Scenario (one each)
  • Each segment of all raids in LFR (This is relatively fast if you play a healing class, for tank or DPS it is recommended you queue for all segments of one specific raid at once, then continue completing your dailies to maximize efficiency)

Tasks that can be completed once total are achievements, there are many that are manageable at low level by exploring, finding hidden treasures, killing rare mobs, and completing different instanced content. It is beneficial to complete these achievements as soon as you are capable of clearing the content required as they give both additional bronze, as well as items you are unable to obtain otherwise (amulet, trinket, rings). For reputation achievements, prioritize utilizing your Lesser Charms of Good Fortune on reputations that have a Remix achievement tied to them first. You will receive Charms from completing the aforementioned daily quests, as well as killing mobs on the Timeless Isle.

From there you have options on what else to do and this will greatly vary based on what gear you have and what your cloak stats are, there are a list of recommendations below on different ways RUIN members have found great success in game.

Farming Emperor reputation on the Timeless Isle, this will unlock the Ordon Sanctuary and the Ordos World Boss once honoured is achieved

  • Normal or Heroic raids where possible, this would be considered a daily activity however it is gated behind your item level and Cloak stats 
  • You may be able to find carry groups of high level players who are capable of solo’ing the content and are happy to take others through – if this is an option, it is likely worth going
  • Siege of Orgrimmar is the only raid you are able to complete on both Normal and Heroic difficulty in once day, so plan accordingly if you are attempting to do multiple raids in one day
  • Farming Lesser Charms of Good Fortune and Rare mobs on the Timeless Isle
  • There are often groups on Stormrage that are organizing rare farm content daily in general chat in game, killing rare mobs is one of the most surefire and Blizzard encouraged ways to boost your cloak at this time
  • Lesser Charms of Good Fortune are able to be utilized to improve your reputation with factions

With this new Timerunning experience, there is a dual pathway where players may split – you can spend Bronze currency to purchase collectibles or you can utilize it to unlock better gear. It may seem counterintuitive to upgrade gear as it is quite expensive, so each member should determine which path works best for them. With better gear you unlock more content which enables you to farm Bronze faster, however it does require more time in game to complete that pathway. If you are looking to buy a few items and leave the Timerunning experience, you also have the option to level up a few additional characters – there is a total of 40k bonus Bronze obtainable from Momentus in the Jade Forest’s Bazar gated as rewards tied to level 50, 60, and 70 in game.
