Horizon Lunar Colony is an Assault map set in a scientific base on the moon. Built as a first step towards humanity’s renewed exploration of space, the colony’s goal was to examine the effects of prolonged extraterrestrial habitation—on human and ape alike. The scientists’ research proved incredibly promising…until, suddenly, all contact and communications with the base were lost.
Blizzard celebrates the one year anniversary of Overwatch! Overwatch is having an annivesary event from May 23 – June 12. So far we have seen some new maps, voice lines, and dance emotes.
The Overwatch Free Weekend will run from May 26–29. PlayStation 4 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership, Xbox One owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership, and Windows PC users with a Battle.net account will be able to download and play Overwatch for FREE during this period—no special keys or sign-up codes needed!

Overwatch Season Two has begun! Ruin Gaming provides a comprehensive listing of changes courtesy of Blizzard Entertainment, covering the many new features of this season of competitive play. In an effort to encourage consistent player progression throughout the season Blizzard has implemented a Skill Rating System as well as Skill Tiers used for group finding. New Game Mode Changes as well as requirements to join the ranks of the Top 500!
At Gamescom 2016, Blizzard has revealed Eichenwalde, the first post launch map for Overwatch! The new map centers around an impressive abandoned castle near Stuttgart, Germany the site of a pivotal battle during the Omnic Crisis in which robots fought an apocalyptic war against humanity. Within the castle, the remains of the Crusaders resistance Balderich (and his amazing power armor) serve as the objective.
“The Last Bastion” follows the forgotten battle automaton, Bastion, as it unexpectedly reactivates after laying dormant in the wilderness for over a decade. Fascinated by its unfamiliar surroundings, the curious omnic begins to investigate, but quickly discovers its core combat programming may have a different directive…
